Candy Cane Santa

Materials needed:  Air-dry clay in white, flesh, red & green.  Blush for cheeks.  Optional black seed beads for eyes.

Create pieces as shown in diagram below.

Cone shaped body should be about 1 1/4" high.
Arms should be slightly curved and slightly tapered at one end.
For candy canes, coil together one thin white snake with red snake.
Assemble all parts as pictured. Attach head, beard and hat and then place all facial parts. Press shoes on ends of legs and add trimming.

Purchase pre-colored clay or pre-tint white clay yourself  with craft paint or gel colorant.
