How to Make a Mermaid Balancing Toy

Flop-Eared Bunny

Use air-dry clay to make this Flop-Eared Bunny.  This is a beginners tutorial and is suitable for many types of air-dry clays.   The softer clays are suggested, such as Makin's Clay, Hearty Clay, Model Magic, Cloud Clay and homemade cold porcelain.  This tutorial is kid-friendly and, with a little help, very young hands could make this bunny!

Make a Clay Balloon Animal

Here's a fun project from Robyn Correa.  Make a balloon dog using Delight Clay!  This is something different, that's for sure.   In addition to Delight clay, which is a wonderful, lightweight clay (made by the same company who make Creative Paperclay), many other air-dry clays would be suitable for this project, such as some of the  pre-colored soft clays.    Enjoy!

Beautiful air-dry clay flower arrangement

Have you ever made flowers with clay?   Many brands of air-dry clay can be made into very thin, translucent petals that are also strong.   "Craft Ideas for All" has a nice little tutorial for creating roses and cherry blossoms to make the pretty arrangment shown here.     Other posts on their blog indicate that they use both Delight clay and Deco clay for their flowers.
